This targeted resource for your less able 6 to 11 year olds is designed for any adult helper to pick up and use in class.  
Consisting of age-appropriate Pupil Books and Games, supportive Teacher’s Notes and Copymasters, there are five levels - Red, Blue, Green, Yellow and Purple, which offer added flexibility and ensure that children are not labelled by a specific age range.

• a means of pinpointing exactly how teachers and classroom assistants can make the best use of time and the resources

Pupil Books

• Introduce and give opportunities to practise each topic or skill in several different contexts
• Maximise the links between maths topics
• Encourage children to use a range of methods to solve problems and memorise facts
• Give children the chance to experience success and build confidence

Copymasters

Each pair of Pupil Book pages is supported by a Copymaster which provides follow-up work in a fill-in format. They:

• contain extra practice where appropriate
• can also be used as homework
• includes games for practice and reinforcement.
